I'm originally from San Diego,
California. We moved to Clear Lake when my husband accepted a
position as the Family Life Pastor at Gateway Community Church.
We made the move
with 3 of our 4 children. Two years later our oldest daughter
moved here and is now married. Our kids attend school here in
the Clear Lake area. We love the people and community of Clear
Lake. The humidity, hurricanes and mosquitoes not quite as
much!
In addition to Real
Estate, I am active with our church. In fact my husband and I
have actively served youth and families for over 25 years in
California and Texas. You may see me speaking, teaching a
women's or mom's group; or Robert and I teaching or leading seminars
in the community. |

My Real Estate Saga....
I am originally from San Diego,
California. We bought our first home while I was expecting
child 3 and 4 (twins) In fact, our escrow closed the day
after our twins were born. I only saw our new home twice
before we moved in.
Fast forward 13 years when my husband of
30+ years, Robert, accepted a position as the Family Life
Pastor at Gateway Community church and we found ourselves
heading to Houston, Texas. We searched Har.com for homes and
in a whirlwind weekend (note: I do not recommend trying to
find a house in a weekend - but it can be done) we looked at
as many homes as we could and found the home that was
perfect for our family. Someone else thought so too, as we
had competition in our bid. Our offer was finally
accepted. We left San Diego owning two homes, as ours had
not sold yet. Just as we were about to make two mortgage
payments, our home in San Diego sold. We accepted the offer
and the buyers wanted to move in as quickly as possible. In
retrospect, it sold at just the right time, at just the
right price, to the right family.
We moved away from our family and our
oldest daughter, then finishing at San Diego State, and with
the remaining three children came to the Houston Clear Lake
area. We have grown to love the people we have met, the
neighborhoods, the great housing market, the wonderful
schools. With the great job market and housing prices so
much better in Houston, our oldest daughter followed us
after graduation and is now working for a NASA contractor.
Houston is now our home.
I share all of this to let you know I
understand the stress and struggles associated with Real
Estate. It isn't just a house, its your home. It doesn't
just affect you, it can affect your family. Knowing that, I
can be empathetic to your needs and come along side and
guide you through the process.
